Role Summary:
Provides management of ongoing maintenance activities for major land drilling contractor. Requires regular travel as operations dictate.
Position Responsibilities:
- Implement GEO DRILLING SERVICES equipment maintenance system.
- Integrate consistent work record updates on each critical asset equipment file.
- Oversee ongoing major overhauls in any given location including district operational locations.
- Monitor repair vendor inspections and recommendations and audits.
- Minimize downtime through maintenance systems development and deployment.
- Review and recommend inventory levels of all spare parts and set up checklists for critical and non-critical parts.
- Coordinate and perform rig inspections.
- Coordinate maintenance systems, review and enhancement.
- Address concerns and provide viable solutions and alternatives for equipment issues.
- Train personnel on proper equipment, operation and maintenance.
- Special Works as required.
Key Capability Requirements:
- Minimum 7 Years’ experience with drilling equipment maintenance, repair, and overhaul.
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.
- General knowledge of Excel and Word.
- High School Graduate
- Trade/Technical school diploma
- Proven leadership traits
- Able to travel on regular basis
- Possess initiative and personal motivation
- Dependable and adaptable to change
Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
